I love hummingbirds and was like a kid in a candy store tonight watching a documentary on the PBS Channel. I am an armchair traveler and have much respect and gratitude to those who bring the world and its' wonders to my home. The photography of these tiny souls was breathtaking. Did you know the size of their eggs is comparable to a Tic Tac? They literally hibernate at night to conserve energy. It was a fascinating fundraiser for PBS so I am hoping it will be repeated this week. Perhaps Netflix would have it or PBS.com. You would enjoy it.
Tonight is a full moon, a "worm moon" to be more exact having to do with earthworms. Don't ask, that's all I know via KSL TV's meteorologist Kevin Eubank.
I am crazy but planning to set me alarm for 245 am MDT. That is 15 minutes before they are expecting the solar explosion to first affect the east coast of the U.S. Power grids could be affected, airplane communications, Northern Lights enhanced. I probably won't see anything but want to say I tried. Not that I want anything weird and Hollywood Cosmic to happen. My life is plenty full right now, thank you.
